Introducing Kate Rose

Kate Rose in an aspiring musician, who specialises in live performance, composition and live sound engineering. Kate’s sound is innovative and diverse, with her influences ranging from The Smashing Pumpkins to Taylor Swift.

Kate has an impressive repertoire of covers and original songs which she performs at venues across her hometown. She swaps between electric and acoustic performances with ease at her emotive live performances. Kate also likes to mix up her schedule, regularly being a live sound engineer at local venues. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Kate is also very comfortable in a studio setting producing a wide range of tracks, with high quality production skills.

As aptly summed up by the organisers of Loopfest, 'If you've been to open mics around town, you will surely have bumped into Kate.

Marrying folk based melodies with acoustic rock, Kate always leave an audience captivated and in awe of her fantastic voice'.

Kate hopes to continue performing at venues in her hometown and to begin to perform in venues across the country. Whilst also getting more experience to do live sound in bigger venues and in studios.
